when making a photoset in tumblr you have to keep in mind that there’s always that little negative space, so instead of making the width of your images 250 (one picture on tumblr is 500 so it would only make sense for a photoset to be 250+250=500) it has to be 245. because 245+245=490, which leaves 10px for the negative space.
when making a photoset with 3 images in a row the width has to be 160, because 160+160+160=480, which leaves 20px for two negative spaces of 10px (example)

when you’re not making a photoset, but just more images in one edit (like this one) the width for two images in a row is just 250, because 250+250=500 and there has to be no negative space.
but when you want three pcitures in a row it gets a bit tricky, because 500 divided in 3 = 166,66666666666666 (and like a million more sicks) so that’s why i then always make two pictures 167 and one 166, because 167+167+166=500

height really doesn’t matter and just depends on whatever you want. :) and thanks!
